Tradition of Advent
What is Advent? Advent means 'Coming' in Latin. Advent is the period of four Sundays and weeks before Christmas which allows Christians time to prepare and remember the real meaning of Christmas. The “Coming” can translate into the Past, Present, and Future:
Jesus was born and became man to die for us (Past)
Jesus wants to come into our lives now (Present)
Jesus comes back to the world as King and Judge (Future)
